Fat Man

This model is based on a 'Making of' by Rafael Ghencev published in 3DCreativeMagazine (Oct. 2008). For the most of my models I start by modeling a pretty detailed base mesh and import it into ZBrush for the fine details. I followed this article in order to learn sculpting from a low resolution base mesh (see last picture). I could have probably done a better job on the skin details, especially on the body, but I did not want to spend more than an afternoon on this model. Now I am ready to try something by my own.

This is the base mesh I used for the sculpt.
